What is on your Christmas List?
I'd love to get my hands on a big ole flat screen TV. Perhaps Santa will oblige?
What's on your list for the holiday season?

Make your website PDA Friendly
In an earlier post, I talked briefly about
PDA Friendly Websites and how I think this is something that website owners will need to address at some point in time.
Here's a really great tool to
Mobilize a site.
It strips images and makes the website readable on a tiny screen.
Pretty cool stuff!
Web Phones see Surge in Subscribers
Skype, owned by E-Bay has recently reported that it has over 100 million registered users.
It hasn't been determined how many people actually use it, a count done recently showed about 6 million active users.
Skype was added to improve communications between buyers and sellers at E-Bay. The basic service is free, and calls made to traditional phones cost a bit of loose change.
I used this service a few times with a webcam and thought it worked pretty well. The sound was clear and you could see a clear picture of the person you were talking to. I haven't used it in quite some time, but I'll bet it still operates much the same.
Yet another threat to traditional style LAN lines..

Newest Security Hole in Internet Explorer
Microsoft is scrambling to fix a Security hole in Internet Explorer that has already been exploited by Cyber Criminals.
This exploit is done by sending unsolicited Email (SPAM) to consumers on the subjects of US Dollars and other currencies. When consumers click on links provided in this Email, they are sent to websites that'll freeze their computer and download software to capture login information for banks, credit card and other financial
institutions.
To protect yourself against this vulnerability, I recommend that you visit
Microsofts website to download their patch software. It's never a bad idea to be ultra paranoid. :)
Congratulations Google
Congratulations to Google for their entrance into the S&P 500.
On the news, the Search engine Giant is seeking to sell off 5.3 million shares, or about 2 billion in cash.. Looks like they have spending out a great deal, too..
